Kyra: Dragon Form

Yea, 'bout damn time I posted a picture. XD This is my main character (or me XD), Kyra L. Grythic, a Dragon Shifter. The middle name? It's the same as my middle name, so if you know that, then yea. XD

So yes, this is the dragon that Kyra turns into when she changes. She's a silver Deathfire Dragon, a subspecies of the Darkness Dragon category. Now Deathfire Dragons, along with most of the other dragons in the Darkness Dragon category, have very dark scale colors. A Deathfire is black, with red and yellow markings on the body, the tip of the muzzle yellow, and the inner wing membranes being red. Their scales are tough, although a strong enough blow can break the scales and pierce the flesh, and their main attack, as their name suggest, are of the fire attribute, the fire ranging from a very dark red color to black fire. These dragons are also pretty large, mature males and females reaching eleven feet in height, fifteen feet or longer in length, wingspans getting as large as nineteen feet from body to wingtip for each wing.
But wait! There's something different about this Deathfire. The base color is not black, but a very reflective silver color, with black and red stripes. A silver coloring is the cause of a mutation, similar to albinism. This a large disadvantage for hunting, for Darkness Dragons rely on their supurb night vision and dark coloring to fly in the night undetected. Deathfires have poor eyesight during the day, and because a silver Deathfire's scales are very reflective, they can't hunt well at night. Another thing thanks to the mutation is that their scales are much smaller and thinner, and not having adequete protection from their scales makes them vulerable to attacks, especially hunters. They are also somewhat smaller than normal Deathfires, but have slightly larger wings, giving them superior flight and agility.
Now, Kyra's a Dragon Shifter. When she goes into her dragon form, it's slightly anthropomorphic, she's able to stand on her hind legs better than regular Deathfires (she stands much more erect, while others of the species can't, although they can stand on their hind legs), has human-like hands with the exception of very sharp claws, the ability to speak (although other intelligent dragons are capable of this as well), and the one thing that shows that she has a human form, her hair, dark brown with silver streaks (Kyra's normal hair is just dark brown, almost black, the silver streaks are from the dragon's coloring). Even though her eyesight isn't good (She went blind once, though that was a side effect from having a potion in her to help her sight that backfired when she tried to keep a portal open, draining all strength she had), her hearing is amazing. Her attacks range from all classical draconic attacks, breathing fire, clawing, ramming, biting, the like, but she also uses her ability to launch fire or darkness magic attacks, and can also use her weapons in this form: a long, slightly curved sword, pale white with a thin red mark down the middle of her blade, a black and red handle; and a longbow, complete with a set of arrows tipped with sharp metal arrowheads, often enhanced with fire or darkness attacks. She's very agile, and she isn't even the complete size of a Deathfire. Due to being a Shifter, she only stands a bit over six feet, seven feet in length, and her wingspan is nearly ten feet from body to wingtip.

Yep. Be happy, I worked my ass on this one, thanks to a certain roleplay friend getting some facts wrong! *glares at Wolf* My favorite part on this is the hair, I love how it came out, and the eyes, which are yellow with a bit of silver. Now I just gotta design Kraili'... Then I'll have a picture for all of my characters! XD
